(Please note: Placing the cursor over a picture gives you some info on it....)

This month our society had the privilege to visit the Pan American Resort of PSST member Esmie Rivera. The resort is a secluded in San Benito and members started arriving there at noon. Esmie had a huge 'Fiesta' planned, with music, dancing and a mariachi band. All that attended were thoroughly impressed and seemed to have a fabulous time.

Esmie opened up the ceremonies with an introduction of her helpers and all that was planned for the day. Afterwards, Chairman John Volk thanked Esmie for her efforts and all involved and then conducted a short meeting so that the entertainment could commence.

After the short meeting, the entertainment went into full production. First up were the mariachi's working the room and singing beautiful traditional songs. Then came along the traditional dancers from the University in all of their various colorful gala (representing different regions of Mexico). Certainly very colorful and beautiful to watch as they danced across the room and entertained us all.

After a while, the entertainers took a break and we started to dig into the fabulous food that had been prepared for all to enjoy. Naturally with this being a 'Fiesta' we had fabulous Mexican dishes and desserts to indulge in (to include the 'Ice Cream King' from Brownsville). Esmie and all of her helpers really went out of the way... we thank them for putting on such a fabulous party for our society.
