2196 German Heirloom Melon (Cavaillon Espagnol)

Large oblong heavily netted fruits, green flesh with salmon center, a very rare and old melon, it was listed in 1893 in Haage & Schmidt’s catalog in Erfurt, Germany, and also listed by the Vilmorin’s of France earlier in the 1800’s. A wonderful, rare heirloom melon. Package of 15 seeds $1.95

2198 Spanish Melon, Golden Beauty F1 Hybrid Melon

Yellow Canary type. Large, distinctive oblong melons with a somewhat wrinkled, bright yellow rind. Avg. 4-5 lbs. Sweet, juicy, pale green flesh. Good shelf life. Powdery mildew tolerant. Harvest when small leaf at fruit attachment browns.

2199 Serenade Single Server F1 Hybrid Melon

Single-serve melon. Fruits are small, (avg. size between baseball and softball) with a smooth, greenish-white skin like Sweetie No. 6. The thick orange flesh is rich, sweet, and aromatic. 2215 Queen Ann Pocket Melon

( Novelty melon grown for fragrance, not edible, at least not tasty ). 75 days. Beautiful, ornamental fruit are yellow with deep orange stripes, and only 2”-3" long! 2216 Black Japanese Futsu Squash

Rare, black Japanese squash, the fruit is flattened, round and has heavy ribbing. Very unique and beautiful. The black fruit will turn a rich chestnut color in storage.
